Swim pics coming soon...and a funny!

Meg is officially signed up for swim lessons. I'll be posting pics next week! We went last night and registered and boy 'oh boy is she ever excited! She's been waiting all winter to swim again and she finally gets her chance. I hope it's as much fun as she thinks it's gonna be. As we were walking out last night I hear her saying "Friday, Saturday, Sunday, MONDAY!" Only three more days 'til swim lessons, right Momma? That's right Meg! =) We've got bathing suits picked out already and we already have an after swim lesson snack planned since she already knows she'll be staaaaaaarrrrrrrrving. A doughnut from Dunkin Donuts. We've been watching them build this place for months and we saw it opens on Monday, so she is just sure she needs to be there. I can't say that's a bad idea. Now....my decision as a parent is...can that be our dinner or is it just dessert? LOL

And the funny you're still wondering about? Meg has this not-so-new habit of mouthing off to me. It's not something that makes me particularly proud of her and she continues to get the "respect" talk and "respect" lessons from me that are attached with time outs and other various forms of punishments. (No television for the day is the worst!) Anyways, she now has learned to follow up her hateful times with "Mommy, will you forgive me????" (This is in the sweetest voice ever, keep in mind!) She'd been saying this for a few days when just yesterday she asked me, "Mommy, what does 'forgive' mean?" End of story....you get my point, right?????
